Podcast Episode: Being Friends With Married People
One of the cool things about creating a podcast (and there are many), is that you start interacting with other people who create podcasts. Fun example: My guest this week, Julie Lauren, host of Hashtag No Filter and…wait for it…a married person. Gasp! Yikes! I enjoy them! Whew so glad to finally get that out there. I do have married friends, I do have married guests, and I’m very excited to share Julie’s episode with you this week.
Julie’s own podcast is premised on completely real and honest conversations about a whole host of things, situations, perspectives, and certainly people who impact our lives, and I thought she’d be the perfect married to talk to about how we as single women maintain our friendships with people who are partnered up. Friendship, particularly female friendship, is a recurring theme within my podcast and in our Facebook group, and I loved getting a partnered person’s thoughts on the topic.
I will also be a guest on Julie’s podcast soon, and I’ll have a link to that for you here when it’s up, but in the meantime you can listen to her episode on my podcast, which if it’s any indication how much fun I had making it, I texted her while I was editing it informing her that we had to hang out again soon because I had such a great time (and such good wine) during our chat. Listen on iTunes, Spotify, or below.
