Podcast Episode: Flash Pack Was Made For Us
Radha Vyas and Lee Thompson are the founders of Flash Pack, a travel company created specifically for solo travelers in their 30s and 40s. I complain all the time (about many things but also this) that the only products that come into my sphere that are marketed specifically to single women are dating apps, and nothing but. As if the only thing that could possibly be of interest to a single woman is not being single anymore. Then I heard what Lee and Radha came up with (on their first date by the way) and I knew I had to hear their story. Flash Pack is brilliant, and it makes me feel really good to hear people creating and making community spaces for people who travel and live alone. This is a great episode for anyone considering solo travel but sincerely lacking in planning skills—or just anyone in need of a good adventure. I was excited to talk to Radha and Lee because identifying and meeting the needs and wants of single women is behavior that should be celebrated.
Listen on iTunes, Spotify, or below. And if you’d prefer to tackle solo travel on your own, my Paris List is a good start for anyone who loves cheap wine, good bread, and museums nobody thinks to go to.
