Hi, I’m Shani

I’m the host of A Single Serving Podcast and the author of A Single Revolution. I’m changing the narrative around being single, because so far it’s had pretty bad PR. I’m not an advocate for singlehood. I’m an advocate for women feeling good while single—there’s a difference.

The Podcast With The Best Discount Codes

The Podcast With The Best Discount Codes

A box of organic tampons and one vitamin subscription later, I’m addicted to That’s So Retrograde. I’m late to the game, I know this. The podcast launched in 2015 and is hosted by Elizabeth Kott and Stephanie Simbari, and is centered around what I’d loosely call celestial wellness. Wellness by itself isn’t the right word, astrology alone seems too narrow, this is more about getting your spirit, stars, and shit together, so to speak.

I love this podcast because of its positivity, it’s upbeat pace, and it’s general void of judgment and guilt-inducing directives. It’s more about having fun conversations about astrology and various other practices that can contribute to one’s overall internal joy—or not, this shit is really up to you.

Some podcasts have sponsors, and sometimes advertisements for those sponsors can feel super forced and interruptive. While you definitely know that That’s So Retrograde is about to try to sell you something, I’m here to tell you that you literally don’t mind. Maybe quality podcasting begets quality sponsors, I don’t know, but these ladies are here to sell you some high level life additives, at bargains that make me miss my grandmother.

Think about this for a second, how good would a podcast’s sponsors and discount codes have to be for me to actually WRITE ABOUT THEM FOR FUN? Like I have things to do today, but this was important enough to be one of them. It’s also really lovely that they corral all their codes onto one page for quick reference so that you don’t have to frantically search for pen and paper while you’re chopping jalapeños in your kitchen (just me?), but I also strongly suggest that you just listen to the podcast and be delighted when one of these absolute steals pops up.

Also, if you do take advantage of that Lola discount on feminine products (40 fucking percent off, people), make sure you sign up for Ebates first, because right now they’re also doing 12% cash back, which is a LOT. Most of the time cash back is around 2-5% for most brands. And yes, that is my referral link for Ebates which will give us both $ if you use it. I could write an opus on Ebates too but I wanna go make some low carb tortillas.

Give That’s So Retrograde a listen, it’s one of my favorite ways to infuse a little more celestial wellness into my life without having to do very much. The hosts are witty, the guests are smart (the hosts are smart too, this is just how writing flows, people), and if you need a good around-the-house listen while you’re Kondo-folding socks or meal prepping, give this a try. And please don’t be put off by the opening jingle, I promise you’ll come to view it as charming. xo
